RICHMOND, VA — The leading presidential draft committee will host the first MeetUp of the 2008 campaign on April 11, 2006.
“With organizers in more than fifty cities anxious to take action for Hillary we are proud to announce the first campaign MeetUp focused on 2008,” said Campaign Director Peter Feddo.
“We anticipate thousands of supporters to network, share ideas and take action for Hillary on this historic day in politics.”
The campaign will use this MeetUp event to gather signatures for our petition to Democratic National Committee members to support Hillary Clinton for President. Thus far 1,115 voters have signed the online petition asking influential DNC members to support our candidate in 2008.
MeetUp.com is a popular political organizing website known for converting netroots supporters into grassroots activists.
The Hillary Clinton for President Committee is not associated with U.S. Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY), who is currently not a candidate for the office of U.S. President.
