Clinton Wins The Super Tuesday Delegate Race

With all the Super Tuesday votes almost counted Sen. Hillary Clinton opens up a super lead on Obama in the important delegate race. Obama’s website however still lists him as the leader but the numbers are in and he lost the day. Now the New York Times has Hillary running away with it at: Clinton 667 and Obama 583.

In A Winner Take All Scenario Hillary Leads By 424 Delegates

So says the Politico:
If the Democrats used winner-take-all like the GOP, Hillary would lead by 424 (1121-697).

BREAKING! New York Times To Endorse Hillary Clinton

The New York Times will endorse Hillary Clinton For President! I will update as this story develops. Obviously an endorsement from America's newspaper will add even more positive momentum to Clinton's already winning campaign.

Politics of Hope = Politics as Usual

As everyone knows I support all of our strong Democratic candidates and I think we have some tough choices to make on Primary Day. My choice is made easier and my support for Hillary Clinton made more solid every time I hear the angry candidate Barack Obama attacking other candidates and shirking the responsibility of such attacks.

I am saddened when I think about the great promise of the politics of hope and see politics as usual. Obama complains all the time that he is a swiftboat victim, all the while sending his minions out to take potshots at Senator Clinton and her husband. For instance:

Honoring A Pledge

Last autumn when Florida and Michigan leapfrogged ahead of the pre-planned early primary states all of our honorable Democratic candidates signed a pledge not to compete in those two states. The candidates recognized that those states violated the rules and should not distract from the DNC's selected early states. Today we learn the shocking news that one of the candidates decided to throw the pledge out the window. That's right, one of the candidates decided that they no longer have to live up to the obligation they made, the promise they committed to the early states and the Democratic Party, because those states are behind him. That candidate has made a HUGE ad buy in the state of Florida reaching 6.6 million households with his ads.

Eight Governor's Are Supporting Hillary!

The impressive list continues to grow with Gov. John Baldacci of Maine endorsing Hillary! So far: Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland, Arkansas Gov. Mike Beebe, Oregon Gov. Ted Kulongoski, New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine, Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm, Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley and New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer.

EMILY's List Looks Into Crystal Ball To See Hillary's Inaugural

From The Politicker:

The Emily's List luncheon featuring Hillary Clinton that just ended in Washington had as its centerpiece a video depicting an inauguration in which an actor who looked a lot like John Roberts swore in a woman with short blond hair.

According to one attendee of the luncheon, Emily List's president, Ellen Malcolm presented the video to Mrs. Clinton "as a gift."

Matthews Obsessed With Clinton Sex Speculation

Think Progress has a great compilation video of Chris Matthews (R) - MSNBC attacking Sen. Clinton and President Clinton. Check out what they have to say about his sex obsession:

MSNBC host Chris Matthews is obsessed with Bill Clinton’s sex life. Over the last four weeks, Matthews has incessantly raised baseless speculation that President Clinton may have an extramarital affair or engage in inappropriate behavior that would impact Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY).

Wash Post is At It Again!

STOP THE PRESSES! Hillary Clinton gave away more money to charity than she reported! That's right, frontpage of the WashPost is dedicated to this sinister scandal!

Jonathan Chait at the New Republic covers the hyperventalating details from the Washington Post over this non-story re: Hillary Clinton.

I mean, maybe--maybe--that's a one-paragraph item somewhere in the back. But this is a major front page story. And the story doesn't even try to explain why this is a matter of public concern. As it reports:

Clinton's spokesman said her failure to report the existence of the family foundation and the senator's position as an officer was an oversight. Her office immediately amended her Senate ethics reports to add that information late yesterday after receiving inquiries from The Washington Post.

"The details of the Clintons' charitable family foundation and Senator Clinton's role in it have always been publicly available, but, in an oversight that leaders of both parties have made, it was inadvertently omitted from her Senate filing, which has been corrected," Hillary Clinton's press secretary, Philippe Reines, said yesterday.
